As long-time pet owners (dogs, cats, horses & exotics) we decided to build a kennel on our own homestead, the kind of place where we would be happy to leave our own critters. Our combined experience in animal care includes more than 15 years in breeding, showing, grooming, and veterinary assisting. We are a fairly small kennel with 35 dog runs and a cat room with 18 spaces. This allows us to specialize in lots of love and personal attention for each of our guests every day. Our western ranch theme includes dog runs named Jesse James, Sam Bass, Billy The Kid, and other famous western figures. Our cat room is called Miss Kitty's Boarding House.

If you are looking for that very special place for your beloved pets, you found it! We are definitely not your typical boarding facility. Pet owners can settle their pets in their run at drop off and get them out at pickup. As a matter of fact, we encourage it! Our atmosphere is more like a home than a kennel. Our office and kennel are one, separated only by glass doors. The pets in our care can be seen from everywhere in our facility, they are not separated from us by a series of doors or hallways. Our kennel is an indoor/outdoor facility complete with heating, air conditioning, ceiling fans, continuous music, lots of plants, home decor and tons of interaction with us. Dogs are naturally pack animals and do much better with human and "doggie' interaction. All pets who live together, stay together, unless YOU request that they be separated. We designed our runs extra large for this very reason. Each dog run and cat space has its own individual storage box so we can keep your pet's food, medicine and leashes safe. Your pet will be fed twice daily with our house choice: Victor Premium Dog Food, or their own special diet you provide. We understand owning a pet sometimes means administering medications and we do this for you at no extra charge. You may bring food, toys, treats and bedding or you can just bring your pet and we will supply everything. For first time boarders, we suggest you sleep in an old T-shirt (not one you want back!) for a couple of nights and bring it with your pet. The smell of home and "Mom" or "Dad" will help to comfort them while you are away.

All of our dog run floors are covered with 3/4" thick, high quality, rubber mats. These mats are extremely comfortable for your pet and especially great for older dogs. Each run has a metal divider that is 5 feet tall with 3 feet of chain link fencing above, so no fightin' with your neighbor!

Large runs are 6 feet wide by 12 feet long and can comfortably accommodate 3 large dogs.

Small runs are 4 feet wide by 12 feet long and can comfortably accommodate 2 medium dogs.

Small dogs won't know what to do with all the room!

All dog runs are indoor/outdoor. Doggie doors are left open during the day so the dogs are free to go in and out at will.

Miss Kitty's Boarding House is a separate room for our feline guests. Each individual kitty space has two elevated, carpeted shelves for sleeping or just lounging around. Each space also has kitty toys suspended from the ceiling for lots of play fun.

We have an on-site groomer. Buffy Moravetz has been in the grooming business for over 14 years. Buffy is available for grooming by appointment. Grooming at the end of your boarding can also be arranged. Take your pet home fresh and clean!

We accept checks, cash, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

                  

All pets must be current on all vaccinations, including Bordatella (kennel cough) for dogs. All pets must be flea free or pet will be dipped at owner's expense. For the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets staying with us must be current on a recognized Flea and Tick prevention program such as Frontline or Advantage. All vaccinations must be on file in our office prior to your pet's stay with us.

All pick up appointments begin after 10 am. This ensures your pet's morning meal and outdoor time will not be interrupted. Our office is closed on all major holidays.
